A multi-lingual maestro, Mark Andrew James has a wealth of experience conducting musical ensembles around the world, including the Krasnoyarsk Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Israeli Philharmonic, Yaroslavl Governor Symphony Orchestra and Juilliard Symphony. His conducting has taken him to Japan, Rio de Janeiro, Canada, Hong Kong and all over Europe

'A CELEBRATION OF' CONCERTS
A unique and highly popular series of concerts which have great appeal for the audience, where an actor plays a composer, in costume and is interviewed by a well known TV or radio personality about life, times and influences, with the orchestra and soloists playing excerpts of the music at once making the concerts hugely accessible and attractive. Patented scripts are available as is the all the music in one binder.
Subjects currently available are: Handel, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Puccini as well as a history of Music in the Movies.
OPERA GALAS
Hugely popular as ‘stand alone’ concerts or part of a Festival, Opera Galas are enormously popular, educational and accessible for the audience. Whether the concert features one composer or several, these concerts introduce audiences to a great amount of some of the world’s most popular and well loved music.
Many people are hesitant about going to an opera for the first time and so often don’t go, which is extremely sad. These concerts however, give people a taste and opportunity to sample much of one composer’s music, or a lot of several, complete with a narrated background, giving a great cross section of what music is ‘out there’ and so, hopefully, make them want to sample more!
Mark Andrew James has a well proven track record of this type of concert, has music and scripts (patented) ready and can easily tailor the content to suit occasions, venues and
budgets whilst always delivering world class performances.
OUTDOOR CONCERTS
What nicer way is there to while away a summer’s evening in glorious settings, sitting under the stars with a great picnic, great company and plenty of your favourite drink, whilst listening to some of the world’s most favourite music, normally ending with an impressive firework display and enormously exciting and uplifting music.
Mark Andrew James again has a long and well proven track record of these outdoor event and can often be seen ‘at the helm’ at some of the most famous outdoor venues in front of
thousands of concert goers. He is always able to involve the audiences in the concert itself making them an important part of the whole experience. Once seen, never forgotten!
STUDIO PERFORMANCES
Mark has conducted studio sessions with members of all the major London orchestras, for both film and television at ‘Hear no Evil’ and Angel Studios in London. Films include Being Considered for Spice Factory, Jack Brown and the Curse of the Crown for Little Wing Films and Lady Audely’s Secret, a Victorian melodrama for Carlton Television.

WORKSHOPS
As part of his work with the Sussex Symphony Orchestra, Mark has masterminded the creation of a series of workshops and sessions catering for children of all ages and abilities, through to adult further education by taking sections from the orchestra into schools and colleges, holding seminars and sessions culminating in public concerts.
